Pixbyte Development offers a number a different license models that fit your individual needs. The following table lists the license models and the developers it is designed for.

Although, all license models are subscription licenses, you can use the SDK after the subscription has expired! You simply do not get any updates and support anymore, in case you do not renew your subscription.

FoxBurner SDK Standard License
  The FoxBurner SDK Standard should be used by Windows software developers who do not need all the functionality of the SDK. Since the support and updates are also included in the subscription, this is the most cost-efficient SDK license. However, some restrictions apply, most of them dealing with re-branding and OEM deals.

FoxBurner SDK License for Content (Re-) Sellers
  This new license model was initiated for those software or rather business models that distribute software for free and generate revenue by selling content. The functionality and limitations are the same as in the Standard license except for distributing the software freely in conjunction with a depending service.

FoxBurner SDK Professional Suite License
  The Professional Suite License has virtually no limitations for developing a Windows software. Advanced features like BluRay recording, on-the-fly data encrypting and on-the-fly data compression can be used in an umlimited number of projects. All functionality is available and your software can be rebranded and is open for OEM deals and/or hardware bundling.

FoxBurner SDK Premium Suite License
  The FoxBurner SDK Premium License is designed for software publishers, hardware manufacturers and system integrators and offers all features and functionality for all supported operating systems (e.g. Windows, Mac, Win CE, XPe). The Premium License and Support Program has several advantages which are only available in this corporate license. For details, take a look at the license comparison chart. The characteristics of the support program are shorter response times, longer update periods and a personal contact with the Pixbyte Support Staff.
