Pixbyte Audio SDK
The Pixbyte Audio SDK 2.0 is a completely redeveloped component to grab* digital audio tracks directly from Audio CD's and Audio DVD's.
The Pixbyte Audio SDK 2.0 supports the audio formats Wave(pcm), OggVorbis, mp3, AAC and WMA (Installation of Windows Media Format Runtimes is required). Audio Tracks are converted in real time, which means that no temporary files are created. Furthermore, the Pixbyte Audio SDK 2.0 supports VBR (variable bit rates) und CBR (constant bit rates).
The new Audio SDK 2.0 now supports FreeDB 2.0 and CDDB. With these databases Audio CD's and Audio DVD's can be identified and the autmatic ID3 Tag Engine can write this information to the target files. Also, play lists (m3u) can be created on the fly.
*The Audio SDK 2.0 does not support removing copy protection mechanisms.
