The vendor database for supported devices is no longer available since all new drives should run with the SDK.
Yes, there still are some problems with certain devices. In 99% of those cases, updating to the latest firmware of the manufacturer resolves the problem.

FoxBurner SDK 4.0 supports the following device interfaces:

- SATA I (Serial ATA 150), SATA II (Serial ATA 300)
- SCSI
- Universal Serial Bus, USB 1.1 and 2.0
- FireWire, IEEE 1394a (Firewire 400), IEEE 1394b (Firewire 800)

FoxBurner SDK 4.0 supports the following OS:
- Windows 98SE / ME/ NT / 2000 / XP / Server 2003 / XP64 / Server 2003 64 / Vista (all versions)
- Embedded OS: Windows CE 5.0, 6.0 & XPe
- Mac OS X 10.4.4 and above (Intel)
- Linux: OpenSUSE 10.x, Debian GNU/Linux 3.x and 4.0, other distributions are available on request
